My Left Foot!

Hello again fellow Success Traveler!

If you are like many people today who are tapped for time and maybe even energy and money stick around as I share with you how a guy who only had one good foot changed the world during a dark period in history!

I’ll try and get right to the point as I want to help you with the challenges many will be facing in the next 30 to 90 days as it’s going to get really scary.

Particularly as the media tries to use fear to get people to panic. My goal is to brace you mentally, emotionally and financially and recommend a course of action to protect you in this post. I recommend you print it out and find a private place to read without interruption so you can begin to assemble your own plan based on my recommendations.

Now before I talk about “My Left Foot” let me apologize quickly! I know emails and blogs from me over the last three months have been some what sporadic, fragmented and some what in left or right filed, based on where you stand in the in-field but allow me to try and explain…This summer has been our most difficult times spiritually, emotionally and mentally. As you know I went on a three week tour across American only to return home to a flooded house!

Our toilet decided to break internally and flooded 2/3 of our home and cause more than $20,000 dollars of damage while destroying my entire office and basically forcing me and my family to live out of hotels, family relatives and vacation homes for more than 2 months. What a turmoil! If you have ever had your routines and life disrupted in such away you know how hard it can be emotionally.

Then on the 4th of July, of all days, my wife split her head open while ice skating of all things. We had to have her taken to the hospital in an ambulance. To add insult to injury our insurance decided to cancel on us and we had to deal with all that, on top of me now shouldering the challenges of the whole family instead of just my business. So here I am, in-laws helping, when news comes in that my wife’s grandma just passed away. All this within two months was tough. My support structures were now gone. What a month this was!

Now I am sure your not interested in all the fine details but I wanted you to know that things even happen to us. You’re not alone! But what is key to understand is that those things can effect ones performance. It did me as I had to handle the kids, do some of the cooking, working out of make shift offices. To say that it left me emotionally drained would be an understatement.

So I hope you can forgive me if my emails were a bit awkward. I apologize for the lack of clarity in my correspondence. Those just were some of the challenges that as an entrepreneur that you learn to deal with. Changing circumstances, depleted energy reserves, tough situations, being miss understood est. No matter what you have to meet them head on and seek spiritually based solutions to make it through or you will be wiped out and end up angry and bitter .

Which brings me to share with you a great movie that articulates this well, “My Left Foot”.

“My Left Foot” is the true life story of Christy Brown who was born with cerebral-palsy.

Christy had one left foot that he could use well and with it he changed his world and the life of his family.

If you have ever felt shackled by circumstance then this is a movie you must see.

Christy’s resolve to do what he could turned him into an award winning novelist and renowned painter. It’s a story everyone should see because it will completely remove any excuse you may have of not going after your dream and reveal that with GOD’s help you can accomplish the dream that you have been created to fulfill.

Without giving the film away let me just say that his cerebral-palsy was not the only circumstance that he had to face. They also had to deal with the financial challenges that come with a family of 18 children. Yet even in the midst of their crisis Christy found a hope that would cause the family to survive and thrive.

That’s what I desire for you. Despite our nations own economic challenges and national mortgage crisis I want to help you find a hope that will help you go after your GOD given dream and look past all the problems that are out there because “what you focus on will direct your path” and if you focus on how bad it is out there eventually you’ll begin to make decisions that will drag you down.

The WORD of GOD reveals a secret that brings with is a wealth of treasure. Inside the WORD we are told to focus on things are lovely, noble, just, of good report, praiseworthy, of good virtue. We are told not only to think on but to meditate on these things and the peace of GOD will guard your heart!

Why is that so important?

Because in peace you make wiser decisions because you can hear from the voice of the Spirit of GOD. It’s there we will find that still small voice that directs us to boldly go where no man has gone before! It’s that same still voice that will speak a hope inside you and gives you wings of faith to fly on.

When the mighty and loving CREATOR speaks into your life a HOPE like nothing you have ever experienced before rises up in you. That HOPE creates a faith that you know that you know that you know it will be done. That’s the kind of HOPE and corresponding faith that can endure any circumstance. It’s the Hope that Christy Brown latched onto. That kind of HOPE only comes when you seek spiritual solutions.

Spiritual solutions always produces life and they recharge your mental and emotional batteries while also producing a living hope. It’s that living hope that helps you make better choices. Hope is the very substance that faith needs to latch onto. Hope is the grappling hook that the rope of faith will help you to climb the mountain you may be facing right now. Be it the mountain of debt and lack, joblessness, fear, worry, illness. The voice of our CREATOR has spoken in HIS revealed word that when we follow HIM via the path of truth and love all those mountains will be thrown into the sea and you will stand on top victoriously. All you have to do is say yes to HIM daily and begin to follow as HE guides you out of despair and into the real HOPE HE has for your future.

Jeremiah 29:11 says “For I know the thoughts I think towards you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” You may find the rest of that verse inspiring as many others that are in the living instruction manual.

But hope is the beacon we all need and that was one of the major reasons I designed the Entrepreneurs

One of those steps is to relinquish any negative idea’s of hindering thoughts that are causing you to look at or evaluate GOD. Too many people miss out on the incredible beauty, peace, joy, protection and assurance that come from understanding the truth about GOD. Instead they evaluate the concept of a CREATOR through erroneous ideas and passed along comments that made sense when they heard it but have never truly evaluated the truth and there for cannot come to the table with an open heart and mind to encounter a real living and loving GOD. Let me challenge you to do so now. Let go of those ideas for now and allow GOD to reveal HIMSELF to you fresh and anew!

Don’t let ego or pride and the fear of being wrong hold you in bondage any longer. Instead be like a child that sees mistakes as opportunity to try again and get it right! It should be no different as an adult. The longer you wait the more pain you end up in.

So if you have never taken that step to ask GOD to be GOD in your life, begin now. Take the first step and watch what happens.

First - Begin as you would in any personal relationship by apologizing to GOD for ignoring HIM and going against HIM. Apologize for resisting the help He sent your way all these years.

When you do HE’ll show you all the ways HE tried to reach you, which will melt your heart into a pool of gratitude.

Second -  Ask HIM to lead and guide you from this very moment and on into all truth because only the REAL truth will set you free. Only TRUTH can be the LORD of your life if you desire your life to really mean something.

Anything built on lies will only wash away in the sand of adversity. So begin by asking HIM to build your life on the Solid Rock of TRUTH.

That’s partly what JESUS was saying. JESUS life was so aligned with THE TRUTH that JESUS and TRUTH were one and the same.

Third -  Re-examine Romans 10:9 in light of steps one and two and do what it says. Romans 10:9 reveals that “If you confess with your mouth the LORD JESUS, and believe in your heart that GOD raised HIM from the dead, you will be saved (Made Whole & Complete here in this life)

When you can understand that LOVE, GOD is trying to build your life on a solid foundation of truth so it works, you are more open to receiving that truth. When you open open the real truth that a loving GOD sent HIS SON to show you how to live your life with HIS help, your life will abound in every way. You will be willing to receive this free gift of life. You will also find for the first time that all the false beliefs and statements were keeping you from fulfilling your true purpose & potential.

I myself did this more than 20 years ago and what happened that night in Dallas Texas as I knelt down overlooking the water fall at the Marriott Hotel was absolutely miraculous.

I basically said “GOD, I am screwing up my life and I’m in need of truth. I believe in my heart that you sent me the truth, JESUS CHRIST, and that HE was crucified for my mistakes (sins) that he was buried and rose again on the third day that by believing in HIM I would be saved (Made Whole). I accept that and ask you now JESUS, come into my heart and my life. Make me new and use this life to accomplish YOUR Plan for My life.

NEVER in my life did I experience such peace, love and Joy. It was beyond my comprehension. On that day I felt like I was new, born again if you will. From there I experienced a new life that brings me where I am today with a beautiful family of 5, just minutes from the beach living in one of the dream places I always wanted to live.

Video 4 - How Social Media Landscape Will Change Your Future

So if you have been following my blog posts by now you should begin to see that I am building a specific case. 

For review let’s recap the last three posts. First I have to ask… “What did you thinkof the last videos?

I think it is self evident that we have some serious challenges ahead of us and that the US economy is poised for a collapse. If you dug a bit further you most likely came across other similar video’s

Okay so let’s review. The first video revealed the importance of focusing your thoughts. What you think about will be drawn to you. Job said in the BIBLE “That which I thought about (Feared) has come upon me.

The second video gave you a snapshot of how rapidly certain populations are growing and how technology is playing a roll in it. Along with another video revealing how to teach those being raised in the digital age.

The last video I sent you portrayed what’s happening in the US economy and began to give you an idea of what you need to do to protect your current assets.

This next video is during this years Web 2.0 Expo in New York. In it Gary Vaynerchuk creator of The Wine Library reveals how to Build A Personal Brand Within the SocialMedia Landscape. It’s going to encourage you to look at how the social media landscape can help you bring your real passion on line and just how well you can do.
