In order to maintain his will to live and play again, he practiced each night by fingering the notes of a memorized piece of music on his bed of boards. He added new pieces until, at the end of his 5 year imprisonment, he had completed an entire repertoire.
“You heard one of those pieces tonight,” he explained. “That constant practice kept my hope alive.”This year, if you are not where you want to be – or what you are, or where you work, keep imagining, keep dreaming, and more importantly keep practicing.There is a powerful line in antiquity that says “knock and it shall be opened”.
